Martis Camp Meadow

Set within the Martis Camp forest, this family retreat was designed around the rhythms of mountain living, generous gathering spaces for large groups, quieter retreats for rest, and every room oriented toward the surrounding pines and peaks. The architecture works with the landscape rather than against it. Soaring ceilings and expansive windows bring the outside in, while natural materials throughout keep the home grounded in its setting. Dedicated spaces for a home theater, bar, and yoga room reflect how this family actually uses a retreat, making room for both activity and stillness. The interiors were designed in collaboration with Sabra Ballon of Ballon Studio, whose approach blends warmth with a modern sensibility.
