I recommend Eisenmann Architecture without hesitation. We loved working with them and every decision they helped us make with our kitchen, dining room, living room, laundry room and entry hall still makes us happy a year and a half later. We will definitely use them for our upcoming bathroom remodel.

Stacy Eisenmann and her staff at Eisenmann Architecture were a pleasure to work with. Stacy designed a beautiful and very functional new kitchen and bathroom for my 1936 Mediterranean-style home. Stacy is the consumate professional -- always calm, always practical, a terrific problem solver with a great sense of design and color. She maintains strong relationships with local contractors and I really benefitted from having her by my side during the interview and selection process. I also enjoyed working with Amber and Jos from Stacy's team who were able to step in during those times when Stacy was not available. I love my new kitchen and bathroom and feel very fortunate to have been able to work with Eisenmann Architects.

Stacy and her team were easy to work with. They listened and were able to accomplish my project in the style, budget and timeframe expected. There was minimal stress considering the size of the project; it was actually quite a joy to work with the team. They are honest, hardworking and kind. I had interviewed several architects and upon meeting Stacy and her team I knew my dream would become a reality. I'm now enjoying my beautiful home.

Stacy is an excellent architect. She designed the remodel for my 1920's bungalow home. I am extremely happy with her work. It has modern touches - like skylights over the bath tub and staircase - while remaining respectful of the period of the original house (e.g. trim and moulding around doors and windows). I consistently get compliments on the finished remodel by friends and other contracting professionals.
Stacy listens carefully and is responsive to questions and concerns. I highly recommend her.

Stacy, Amber, and Jos were great to work with on a substantial remodel of our 1964 mid-century modern home that was in original condition.
We really appreciated their attention to detail, and their recommendations helped us create the vision we wanted for our home. Stacy was knowledgeable on current trends, and made great suggestions that improved the aesthetics and functionality of our remodel. We love our home and can’t thank Eisenmann Architecture enough. Her team was also very familiar with codes and requirements in Berkeley, which was invaluable.

Our family is building a two story home with Stacy and her team. We want to keep the essence of the old craftsman but bring in modern living sensibilities. Stacy and Aska listen well, make sure they understand our needs and then bring creative ideas, empathy, and experience. We are still in the process, but so far I would highly recommend Eisenmann Architecture.
Stacy Eisenmann was lovely to work with! She created an open floor plan for the original portion of our 1927 Albany bungalow--integrating previous adjacent additions into a cohesive whole. Without adding any additional square footage, our house looks and feels so much bigger! We love the new floor plan for the main living areas-especially the open kitchen, with a kitchen island and lots of carefully laid out storage. She is truly a talented architect and kitchen designer and it was a pleasure to work with her. Her in-house cabinetmaker created beautiful one-of-a-kind cabinets for the kitchen, living room, and bathrooms. Plus custom laundry room doors that conceal our new under-the-stairs laundry area!
We recommend Eisenmann Architecture without reservation and are excited that she is expanding to include design-build options in addition to her architecture and design services. Our newly remodeled space is warm and inviting, and will allow us to “age in place”. The project also involved building a new, larger front porch and backyard patio improving the flow between outdoors and the house.

I've been a contractor for the last twelve years and have worked with a good handful of architects in that time. I cannot express enough gratitude for the beautiful projects that I've been involved in with the Eisenmann team! Stacy is a great leader and it has been for me the utmost pleasure to have had the opportunity to work with her.
As an Architect, Stacy is able to take on challenging projects and find creative ways to manage the planning and permitting submittals to get things through the city. She is client savvy to guide and improve your ideas so that the resulting spaces are not just functional but beautiful. Stacy accomplishes both with aplomb. Having the right architect makes the difference between having good ideas and the right to build them. If you want to take your idea and turn it into something you enjoy looking at and experiencing every day I highly recommend you start your team with Eisenmann Architecture. From a creative standpoint her work is exemplary. While it should be noted that creative firms reflect your tastes as a client, a good firm will help you move out of your zone and deliver something you would relish not just in the present but also in the ensuing years, if not decades.
We have referred Stacy as an Architect to numerous clients and have had the opportunity to work with her on numerous projects. We have found her to be responsive and able to work through complex issues that arise during construction. Stacy’s drawings show every detail, well thought-out, with materials specified and researched. This not only makes our job easier as a Contractor and Builder, but we are able to provide very tight and concise bids at the beginning of a project that we are able to stick to through the course of a project. We wholeheartedly recommend Stacy as the Architect for your next project.

Stacy and her team worked with us to transform our tired dark kitchen into a beautiful elegant workspace. The design combined modern elements while retaining the character of our 1903 Victorian. They also turned a garden level storage shed into a lovely art studio and home theater. A deck and patio extend both upper and lower levels creating indoor/outdoor living space. The project was extensive with many challenges. Stacy met them with creativity and good humor and it was a joy to work with her.

We are so in love with our kitchen, it's one of the best things we have and will ever have done for our home, and for ourselves. The design is gorgeous and timeless, and it gives us joy every time we prepare a meal. Worth every penny!
Stacy took our requirements and came back with a few different designs, each incorporating all of our requirements and adding many other features we had not considered. We really liked Stacy’s design and felt really comfortable working with her. She was great listening to our needs and coming up with creative ideas.

Thank you so much for spending time with me on planning my kitchen. Your guidance has helped us visualize the space better.

Stacy and her team have a great attention to detail and great pride in their work. We hired Stacy and her team to remodel our kitchen as well as some other work to the rest of our apartment. Her first concern was functionality. She made sure we weren't just thinking about how it would feel to use the space. Thankfully she was thinking about the livability of this new space, because this was the first remodel we had done and I'm sure we wouldn't have thought through the kind of things that Stacy did.
We didn't have a lot of time to meet and talk about the plans, luckily Stacy was very flexible in how we could all work together. She set up one day long session which allowed us to make every decision about the kitchen and the other work in one day.
We let Stacy choose the contractor we'd be working with because we trusted her and wanted her to work with someone she trusted. Though the contractor might have cost a little more, we saved money in the end because nothing had to be re-done. Stacy chose someone great that she trusted and knew she could communicate with well. Everything was done beautifully and on time.
It's been over a year and we still love how everything turned out. We plan on remodeling our bathrooms soon and we will definitely be hiring Stacy and her team. We look forward to working with her to get the most function out of our tiny SF bathrooms.

Stacy Eisenmann is one of the finest architects I've had the pleasure to work with. Her organization, forethought, and level of detail are of the highest caliber. As a contractor I rely on a collaborative process. Eisenmann architecture is great at solving problems as they arise, collaborating with both our clients and our staff to come up with great solutions while keeping both the budget and ease of construction in mind. If you are interviewing several Architects for your project, I can't recommend Eisenmann Architecture highly enough!
Severin Oliver of Oliver Builders, Inc. (Contractor)
We hired Eisenmann Architecture to do a complete re-model of our Mountain View Eichler home. Working with Stacy and her team was wonderful. She has unerring design instincts and is incredibly precise about every little detail of a plan, like lighting, electrical outlets, etc.. Our home turned out absolutely gorgeous--faithful to a midcentury model aesthetic, but completely updated, with great contrasts of warm and cool colors and vivid accents. We finished our remodel in 2013 and are still thrilled with the results. And they came in at budget. I would highly recommend Eisenmann and am happy to give.
Eisenmann Architecture has a unique ability to respect the architectural history of a building and make it beautifully contemporary. The team is very detail oriented, capable and a pleasure to work with. Stacy Eisenmann is an architect who really listens to her client's needs and solves all problems with creativity and grace.
Nina Mullen (Landscape Designer)
I am a general contractor and I love working with Stacy. She quickly grasps problems that come up during construction and finds solutions that keep the job moving. Her portfolio may display her design talents, but it doesn't show her superior skill in building good relationships and guiding all parties through constructive meetings.
Darrell Rupe (Contractor)
Stacy and her team have formulated the perfect balance of passion for design, knowledge of style and materials, and a careful appreciation for the use of space. Truly masters of their craft, Eisenmann Architecture created the ideal environment for our family and we couldn't be any happier with the results.
